Hello,

I am doing a research on the Alumina market.

Could you please give me a hand to find out which are the ports that ave the propper facilities to handle Alumina?

Thank you!

Rgds, Corina

Two examples from Australia are Gladstone, Queensland, at the fisherman's Landing facility, and, a little further South in the same Port, at Queensland Alumina.

A bit further north (Gladstone) at CAR.

Gove in the NT.

Maybe some of the WA alumina refineries (Alcoa, Worsley)?

Not sure they constitute "proper".

In South of Ukraine there is Nikolaev Alumina Plant. They have their own seaport, it calls Dnepro-Bugskiy Seaport. This port especially qualified for supply Alumina Plant needs. They handle abt. 5 millions tones of raw materials (bauxites) and abt 1 mln. t. of alumina per annum.

I would include Bunbury and Kwinana, in Western Australia on your list. They account for 13 percent of the world exports.

Unfortunately for you, the statistics on destinations appear to be suppressed by the Australian Government.

Thank You, Adi.
