PowderHandling has announced its first New Zealand seminar in a series of Australasian seminars specifically designed to meet the learning needs of the Powder Handling and Processing Industry and its many and varied applications within all major industrial sectors.
The one-day seminar, to be held in Auckland on May 24, includes guest speakers selected for a combination of their extensive industry knowledge and their expertise in a specialist field.
Full details of all presentations and presenters will be available on the PowderHandling web site (www.powderhandling.com.au), but the preliminary program includes the following presentations:
* Introduction to Powder Handling Technologies
* Bulk Solids Testing
* Silo & Hopper Design
* Discharging difficult to manage products.
* Basic Concepts for Mixing and Batching Plants
* Product Sampling / Testing - Importance and Methods
* Pneumatic Conveying Technology
The New Zealand seminar follows the first Australasian seminar held on February 28 in Sydney, which had a capacity attendance, says PowderHandling organizer Mr Paul Nutter. Further seminars are planned for Melbourne and Perth.
