With effect from 1 Januari 2008, VDL Agrotech will be split into two companies: VDL Agrotech and VDL Industrial Products. VDL Agrotech already consisted of two different departments, Agricultural and Industrial. The split is necessary because the name VDL Agrotech no longer covers the current activities, especially those of the industrial department. This division into two parts makes it possible to work more efficiently and with more market focus because employees will be able to concentrate specifically on a single market. Carlos Ooijen will be director of VDL Industrial Products.
VDL Industrial Products
The activities of VDL Industrial Products will be the delivery of complete systems for the protection from explosion and fire of industrial processes and their services and maintance as well as the production of extractor systems and bulkhandling, such as modular tube systems, rotating sluices, ventilators, cyclones, diverter valves and butterfly valves.
VDL Agrotech will remain active in the field of agricultural systems for intensive lifestock farming including the engineering and construction of turnkey projects.
VDL Groep
VDL Agrotech and VDL Industrial Products are both part of the VDL Groep. VDL Groep, with its head offices in Eindhoven, is an international company focused on the development, production and sales of semi-manufactured and finished products.
