Company Presentation: The InBulk Technologies ISO-Veyor is revolutionising dry bulk material transportation and storage.
The ISO-Veyor is an intermodal dense phase pneumatic conveying system for dry bulk transportation and storage, unlike dedicated road tankers, rail tankers or parcel ships, this offers an all in one integrated logistics solution across road, rail and shipping freight.
• The ISO-Veyor has been designed with a number of key criteria in mind. Maximum payloads – The ISO-Veyor design does not follow the ‘belly tanker’ principles as InBulk have developed a patented system which fluidizes powders on a flat surface within the confines of the ISO-Tank barrel. This technology was developed from over 30 years of experience of dense phase pneumatic conveying.
• Minimum Tare Weight - results in a greater amount of product for transport.
• Minimal time to discharge – discharge times of 1 tonne per minute are achievable. Discharge velocity can be controlled.
• Minimum Residue – Residue of only 0.2% following discharge. Simple access via ‘man way’ hatches on the dished ends allows easy manual vacuum for cleaning the ISO-Veyor.
• Robust design – Results in few moving parts and easy maintenance and repair which give long operating life expectancy of the ISO-Veyor
Discharge is via dense phase conveying and can be applied to a variety of powders, granules and slurries, including cements, mortars, ash, chemicals, catalysts, foodstuffs and waste oil sludges and slurries.
A cost effective logistics solution for transport logistics providers and those using dedicated industrial dry bulk materials handling equipment like road powder tankers or rail hoppers. ISO-Veyors provide an efficient, convenient and environmentally friendly way for intermodal freight shipments of dry bulk materials without the need for intermediate handling of the material.
Benefit from driver controlled deliveries – drop or switch loads without need to queue for discharge slots.
The ISO-Veyor and skeletal trailer combination provide the equivalent of road tankers with no loss in performance and very small payload difference.
ISO-Veyors provide the opportunity for bulk haulage companies to lower their investment, whilst increasing efficiency and flexibility.
ISO-Veyors offer suppliers, end users and rail operating companies of dry bulk materials new opportunities for intermodal rail freight supply.
Due to congestion, increasing fuel and taxation costs, road networks have an uncertain cost base and face increasing pressure; With increasing competition and ongoing investment in rail freight, rail is now an attractive alternative means of moving goods and materials.
